Loads

Axial tension, twist, full or partial external pressure, component internal pressure, clamping and  thermal loads may be applied to the model.  These loads can be applied alone or in any combination.

Bending

The bending model considers both static and kinetic frictional forces that exist between layers and predicts the slip of  helical layers for cables bent in a circular planar arc.  The program then reports the relaxation of wire stresses due to slip.
